Well the summer movie season is in full gear and one thing this season truly is missing is a few good horror titles. This next film isn’t slated for a summer release at least not at the moment but it’s sure to intrigue horror fans. Director Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Drag Me To Hell) will be returning to his horror roots in The Possession. To sum up the plot of the film, a young girl buys an antique box at a yard sale, unaware that inside the collectible lives a malicious ancient spirit. It’s rare that I’ll step away from our normal round of site news to post a story like this but this in my eyes is important news. You may remember that Adult Swim this past April Fools brought back Toonami for one night only. The reaction to seeing Toonami back was so tremendous that it actually started a campaign to bring back the block permanently. Well Toonami faithful Cartoon Network and Adult Swim have listened. They announced today via Adult Swim’s Twitter & Adult Swim’s website that Toonami will return May 26th and will take over Adult Swim’s “Anime Block”. This is a great day for Toonami faithful who have been longing for the return of the block ever since it was pulled off Cartoon Network in 2008.

This new entry in the Sonic 4 storyline has the iconic blue hedgehog taking on two legendary rivals with the help of one of his oldest friends, Miles “Tails” Prower. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II is available today on the PlayStation®Network and Steam for $14.99. The game will be available tomorrow on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft for 1200 points.
